Many [[b WikiWriter]] sites are not meant for distribution they are the user's Personal Information Management system, or a note-taking site for school or research project, or a book manuscript. But if you've got a [[b WikiWriter]] site that the world should see, then the world shall see it!
[[b WikiWriter's]] [[b Compile to eBook]] option produces a compiled file with the CSS file, all the [[b WikiWriter]] pages, and all graphics for the project.
"Compiled file?" Yes, compiled file. [[b WikiWriter]] will pull all the pages for a project into a single file readable by Microsoft Internet Explorer. The compilation processes is not complicated:
# To package a project for distribution, first open the project in [[b WikiWriter]].
# Select [[b Tools]] on the menu bar, then select [[b Compile to eBook]].
# The system will ask for a file name and location with the standard Windows file dialog. Give the name (with an .mht extension) and location for the file, and click on [[b Open]]. You can put this file anywhere you want.
# [[b WikiWriter]] then collects all the pages for the current open project into that targetfile.
# Put the compiled .mht file into a Zip archive if you wish, and you have a project distribution package.
